A Domestic Violence Shelter Program Serving
Middle Tennessee Communities For Over 25 Years.

The County Programs

Direct Services for Survivors of Domestic Violence

The majority of services within HomeSafe are directly related to increasing safety and the ability to move from violent relationships to independent living. Critical services include:

1. Three (3) 24 / 7 Telephone Helplines to provide information and access to other services.

2. Three (3) Emergency Shelters provide up to 32 beds for women and children per night.

3. Peer and Crisis Counseling provide information on the dynamics of domestic violence and options available.

4. Referrals are given to other agencies in the community to ensure a wide range of needs are met.

5. Court Accompaniment for civil or criminal proceedings provides moral support and information on process that increase the follow through by survivors.

6. Food and Personal Need Items assist with the economic hardship that is faced by many survivors. Successful outcomes are measured through surveys completed by survivors who receive services from the program.
