VOLUNTEERS
HomeSafe’s Volunteer Program is central to our success of providing quality, consistent and continuing services. Training is provided for all volunteer positions.
Services provided by volunteers include:
- Answering the 24 / 7 Helplines
- Maintenance and repairs for shelters and offices
- Clerical assistance
- Prevention and community education presentations
- Fund-raising
- Documentation and organizing of in-kind donations
- Board of Director’s Committees: Several committees have been established to assist in the planning and facilitate improvements in the program. Volunteers are needed to provide the program with information, expertise, assist in organizing projects, over-site of projects through completion, to enhance current programs.
